Men’s Open Athletes to Watch
Below are the Men’s Open contenders most likely to battle in the first callout:
Samson Dauda
Dauda is coming off a win at the 2023 Romania Muscle Fest Pro, as well as a third-place finish at the 2023 Mr. Olympia contest. He’s already qualified for the 2024 Olympia thanks to his top three finish in Orlando, FL, and his win in Romania. Hence, his incentive is to win more prize money and keep rivals in this show out of the 2024 Olympia.
Nathan De Asha
Nathan De Asha won two pro shows in 2023 but didn’t compete in the 2023 Olympia due to travel issues. De Asha tried to qualify for the 2024 Olympia early, but Dauda derailed those plans in Romania. Fans in Prague likely expect this highly anticipated rematch between the two United Kingdom superstars to be a memorable one.
Roman Fritz
Roman Fritz has competed in eight shows in the 2023 calendar year, including his Olympia debut, where he ranked 14th. He won in the 2023 Bigman Weekend Pro. Fritz will likely be in the first callout with Dauda and De Asha, but Fritz will need to showcase his traditional definition to stand a chance against the two favorites who have a size advantage.
