Team USA at the 2024 European Weightlifting Championships?
Notably, the American weightlifting contingent will be present at the 2024 EWC in Sofia. Team USA’s default continental event is the Pan American Championships, which take place this year in Caracas, Venezuela. However, due to safety and logistical concerns related to traveling to Venezuela, the IWF has approved Team USA to compete at this year’s EWC instead.
American weightlifters are not eligible to win medals at the 2024 European Weightlifting Championships, but their performances will count toward the Olympic qualification process for Paris. You can find the full roster of Team USA athletes as well as their current rankings and best lifts here.
