In an interview on Scoop B Radio with Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson, former Chicago Bulls point guard and ESPN analyst Jay Williams shared his perspective on the top players in the NBA, and he unequivocally crowned Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic as the best.
Amid laughter, Williams cleverly navigated the question about the second-best player, playfully stating, “[laughing] You’re not going to do that to me! I play the media game… [laughing] You’re not going to catch me with that one right now… [laughing] Jokic is still number #1… but I don’t know. I still have to think about that one.”
Jokic, a two-time MVP and NBA champion, is having a stellar season, averaging 28.2 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 9.6 assists in 34.3 minutes per game, solidifying his status as a dominant force in the league.
