Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner, finalists at the 2023 edition of the ATP Finals, won crazy prize money, which rewrote the economic history of the tournament. The exceptional numbers were certified by the enormous prize money granted for this edition of the year-end Master, which rewarded all the participants at the ATP Finals in a significantly important way.

Suffice it to say that Stefanos Tsitsipas, in just three games played against Holger Rune before retiring, earned $75,000! Djokovic, with his 7th triumph at the ATP Finals, earned $4.4 million. The Serbian champion is the athlete who has won the most prize money of all in 2023, thanks to the 7 trophies won this year: the titles and the rest of the results collected granted him a total winnings which is close to $16 million, which mainly includes the Finals, three Grand Slam titles (Australian Open, Roland Garros and US Open), the Wimbledon final and much more.

In terms of titles, it should be remembered that thanks to the victory in the final against Sinner, Djokovic overtook Roger Federer, becoming the most successful tennis player ever in the history of the ATP Finals.

But also Jannik Sinner earned a lot of money

Sinner, considering that the only match he lost in all week at the PalaAlpitour in Turin was the final against the unstoppable Serbian champion, earned equally significant prize money.

The Italian earned $2.6 million: thanks to his clear path to the final, Jannik was the only one who could aspire to obtain the maximum amount of money (as well as points, 1500) equal to almost 5 million. The 2023 edition was a worth remembering, considering the high level of the matches and the balance between the two groups.

After some time, the best 4 in the world all passed the initial phase and met in the semi-final, adding more spectacle on the pitch. The tennis player who occupies the top of the ranking ultimately respected the prediction and secured another incredible victory, beating young talents such as Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz with incredible performances.

We recall that for Djokovic and Sinner, the season isn’t already over: the Serb and the Italian will be at the Davis Cup Finals, where they will try to win the title with their teams.
