Welcome to the Bulls’ new reality, where rumors will be part of the every day norm. Even if some of them (Alex Caruso) aren’t true
Players are saying right things. But until Zach LaVine’s situation is resolved, it will hang inside the locker room

The soap opera that is now Bulls basketball is just getting started, and they can thank Zach LaVine for that. Also, is Alex Caruso a legit piece to be moved?

Alex Caruso gave some insight into how he feels about the constant minutes restriction that he plays under to preserve his health: “I just kind of play when Billy throws me in the game.”
On whether he thinks he could play more minutes: “Sometimes yes. Sometimes no.” pic.twitter.com/AfpHP9h87K – 11:35 PM

Alex Caruso said he’ll be curious to see L2M for Paolo Banchero’s foot movement on final play. Obviously believes he might’ve traveled. – 11:16 PM

I love Caruso as a defender, but letting Banchero back him down without help was too big an ask.
Well done by Banchero, got to his spot and hit the game-winner, that’s what stars do. – 10:32 PM

Banchero wins it for Magic, backed down Caruso and his 6-foot turnaround rolled in. #Bulls lose 96-94. – 10:31 PM

More on this storyline
KC Johnson: Alex Caruso was right. NBA rules in its L2M report that Paolo Banchero traveled before his game-winning hoop. FWIW, Caruso also got away with an uncalled shooting foul on Franz Wagner with 1:27 left. -via Twitter @KCJHoop / November 16, 2023
KC Johnson: Seeing Alex Caruso speculation almost daily, now tied to Bulls potentially having “fire sale” if LaVine is dealt. FWIW, Bulls have rebuffed all Caruso overtures in past and, at least as of now, I’ve heard nothing to indicate they have interest in dealing him. -via Twitter @KCJHoop / November 16, 2023
The Lakers’ interest in Zach LaVine is real — at the right price. However, LaVine’s potential availability also hints at the possibility of a fire sale in Chicago, with the organization seemingly looking to finally pivot away from its longstanding mediocrity. If additional Bulls players become available, the Lakers would also have interest in DeMar DeRozan and/or former Laker Alex Caruso, according to multiple team sources. -via The Athletic / November 16, 2023
