The University of Washington women’s tennis will host the ITA National Indoor Team Championships. The Husky will face NC State in the first round of the tournament. Washington and 15 other top teams in the NCAA will compete February 9-12, at the Nordstrom Tennis Center and Seattle Tennis Club.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday will feature four matches played at both the Nordstrom Tennis Center and the Seattle Tennis Club.

This marks the third time Washington has hosted the ITA National Team Indoors and the second consecutive year the event was held in Seattle, third overall.
Last year at the tournament, the Huskies finished with a 1-2 record, picking up a second-day win over No. 9 Vanderbilt (4-3) and losing games to No. 1 Texas (4-0) and No. 4 Duke (4-1).
The ITA National Championships draw
The fifteen teams that will compete at the ITA National Championships in Seattle will be, in order of seeding, North Carolina, Stanford, Oklahoma State, Michigan, Pepperdine, Texas, Georgia, NC State, USC, Virginia, California, Auburn, Texas A&M, Ohio State and Florida.

The fifteen teams qualified by winning twice during the ITA kick-off weekend.
In Seattle each team will play at least three games. Two teams will advance out of the winners’ bracket with three wins in three days, and those two will play for the championship on Monday, playing a fourth game in four days.
Tickets are $10 per day at the Nordstrom Tennis Center or $25 for the full tournament. All children under 18 enter free, as do all UW students and staff with identification. Attendance at all Seattle Tennis Club matches is free.
