‘Trying to tell us something?’

Nick Kyrgios and his girlfriend Costeen Hatzi sparked pregnancy rumors on Instagram with their New Year’s Eve post as fans were left wondering if the couple was subtly announcing that they were expecting their first child.

Kyrgios, 28, and 23-year-old have been dating since 2021 December. For New Year’s Eve, the couple posed together for a picture as Kyrgios could be seen placing his hand on Hatzi’s tummy. 

“NYE with my loves. Wishing everyone an incredible 2024 filled with love, happiness, success & good health,” Hatzi captioned her Instagram post.

The way picture was taken and considering how Hatzi captioned her post, many fans in the comment section wondered if the couple was making a subtle pregnancy announcement. 

In the comment section of the post, one person asked Hatzi: “Are you trying to tell us something?” Another wrote: “The way he’s holding your stomach I thought this was an announcement post.” 

The speculations ended after Hatzi personally responded to one comment: “no hahah not pregnant!”

Kyrgios wants ‘four’ kids with Hatzi 

Over the last two years, Kyrgios has been speaking very highly of Hatzi and how she makes him feel and impacts him as a person. During the entire 2022 season – in which Kyrgios enjoyed his best season on the Tour – he was accompanied by Hatzi. 

In the summer of 2022, Kyrgios received this question during a Q&A session on Instagram: “I love you when are we having babies?” At the time, Kyrgios wrote: “Next year.”

In 2023 January, Kyrgios held a Q&A session on Instagram when he was asked again asked about baby plans with Hatzi. “How many kids do you want,” a fan asked Kyrgios. Kyrgios responded by writing: “4.”

Kyrgios evidently plans to have kids with Hatzi one day and it seems to be just a matter of time before they become parents together.
